Plage en Martinique

Your stay

A few practical pointers so everything runs smoothly, and the house's small rules — nothing complicated, just what matters to us.

What we ask of you

We're opening our home to you with trust. In return, here are the few things that matter to us.

Volets de la Villa Alakaza

🪟 Close the shutters when you go out

One remote is near the entrance, the other two on the wall between the living room shutters. No need to keep them down all the time — we just close the two at the back in the evening.

Chambre climatisée de la Villa Alakaza

❄️ Air conditioning, in moderation

We barely use it, usually just in the early evening to help fall asleep. No need to go below 23° — doors and windows aren't sealed, so the cool air won't hold beyond that.

Animal de compagnie

🐾 Pets

Your furry companions are welcome! Just a few rules: not on the armchairs, not in the bedrooms, and certainly not in the pool :) And of course, please pick up after them.

Paquet de cigarettes

🚬 Smoking

Only allowed outside.

Plage de Gros Raisins au petit matin

This house is ours — our real home, not a holiday house. We're entrusting it to you for your stay: really make yourself at home.

Address & parking
The exact address will be sent to you as a GPS pin before your arrival — make sure you have Google Maps handy.

Parking:
  • The driveway down is quite steep — impressive the first time, but don't worry: you just need to get the hill start right. The roundabout at the bottom and the space at the top are entirely reserved for the villa. If you're really unsure, you can park further up the street.
  • Please don't park in front of the white gate: it's reserved for our studio, "Ti Coin". Ask us first if you can park there (depending on whether it's rented or not) — thank you for respecting this space.
  • In total: 1 to 2 cars in front of the door / on the slope, + 1 at the top, and if needed in the street before our cul-de-sac (about 200 m), on the shoulder near the forest.
Pool
All the information and rules are on the The House page, Pool section.
